Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entry points, verify credentials or visitor access as directed by site policy, and report concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support access control, incident reporting, and/or communication with site contacts during routine operations, elevated activity, and emergency situations.
