The Security Officer position is responsible for providing security for casino property, maintaining a high visibility presence, handling problem situations, watching for safety hazards, and providing assistance during emergencies. This role involves patrolling parking lots and property, transferring Table Games fills and credits, and providing escorts as needed. The officer will oversee customer presence on property, including crowd control, directing traffic, checking identification, and ensuring prohibited items are not brought onto the casino floor. Responsibilities also include performing duties associated with table and slot drops, observing the Count Team during slot drops, and monitoring entry and exit from Count and Player Services mantrap. The role may also involve serving as a dispatcher, card and dice inspector, exterior patrol, and other security functions. The Security Officer is responsible for reporting accidents and incidents, collecting and compiling investigation information, and writing detailed reports for law violations or policy breaches. They may also be required to testify in court. The position requires meeting department uniform, appearance, and grooming standards, keeping work areas clean, and performing all job duties safely and responsibly, adhering to all regulatory, department, and company policies. Other compatible duties may be assigned.
