About The Position

We are seeking a highly observant and detail-oriented Warehouse Security Officer to help protect our employees, facilities, and assets. This is a non-firearm (unarmed) security position responsible for maintaining a safe and secure warehouse environment through proactive monitoring, documentation, and routine security procedures. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently while maintaining a strong security presence. This role is for second shift Mon - Fri 4pm - 12:30am.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Strong attention to detail with excellent observation skills.
Ability to remain alert and professional throughout the shift.
Comfortable using computers and security monitoring systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to walk, stand, and patrol for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Previous security experience preferred.
Candidates with backgrounds in Law Enforcement, Military Service, Corrections Officer, Detention Officer, Loss Prevention, Warehouse or Industrial Security are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Monitor CCTV camera systems and investigate suspicious activity.
Conduct routine interior and exterior security perimeter patrols.
Perform security wand screenings as employees and visitors enter or exit the facility.
Ensure all doors, gates, docks, and access points are properly secured at the end of each shift.
Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely incident reports and security documentation.
Monitor employee and visitor access while enforcing company security procedures.
Respond promptly to security concerns and escalate issues when appropriate.
Identify safety hazards and security risks and report them immediately.
Assist with loss prevention efforts and help deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
Maintain a visible security presence throughout the warehouse.
