About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Parking Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and report security-related concerns. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and parking facility users by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, parking-related concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of parking areas, entrances, exits, pedestrian walkways, business spaces, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor parking facility conditions, access points, lighting concerns, and unusual activity, and report observations, hazards, and maintenance-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with traffic flow, visitor directions, and access control while maintaining professional communication and accurate incident documentation.
