In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and unusual activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity while following access control protocols and checking credentials in accordance with site requirements.
• Support day-to-day operations by communicating with site contacts, assisting with incident response, and completing required reports related to security-related activities.
