Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. Familiarity with basic software applications and the ability to navigate digital platforms are crucial for effective job performance.
  • Customer Service Experience (B219):A minimum of [insert required years, if applicable] years of customer service experience is required. Candidates should be able to showcase their ability to interact positively with customers and resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and communicate entry requirements in a professional manner.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, facility areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, unsecured doors, and/or unusual conditions.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, access-control activities, and observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
