Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at a healthcare and pharmaceutical research location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, laboratories, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, maintaining awareness of visitor, employee, and contractor activity.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
