As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Inspection in Glendale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A Guard Card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or community members by carrying out site-specific procedures, school district policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, classrooms, parking areas, athletic facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate school personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures, and report unauthorized persons or policy violations.
Prepare accurate incident reports, complete required daily activity documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
