As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Incident Response in Queens, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Requirements
- Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at transit facilities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of stations, platforms, transit yards, buildings, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable requirements.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized entry when required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment, including authorized firearms, and complete accurate activity, incident, and shift reports.
