About The Position

As a Security Officer Screening Monitor in TRACY, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor access points, screen visitors and/or packages, and support daily site operations with strong communication and customer service. In this visible role, you will help promote a secure environment through routine observations and professional interactions. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points and perform screening of people, personal items, and/or selected property in accordance with post orders and location policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access within the location.
• Prepare clear, timely documentation of screening results, incidents, and/or daily activity, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.
