This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and patients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or supervisors.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, waiting areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and assist with directing visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors according to site policies.
Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with staff and the public, following post orders, and assisting with de-escalation when appropriate.
