About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Afternoon Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a retail location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will serve as a visible, approachable presence, helping to deter security-related incidents while supporting a professional environment. Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Possess a Guard Card or license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk and greet visitors in a professional manner, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and delivery records.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, and security-related systems, reporting unusual conditions or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Answer and route telephone calls, provide directions and information, and support a welcoming environment for retail location visitors.
