About The Position

The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and property. This role involves patrolling the premises, responding to incidents, and enforcing security policies. The Casa Monica Resort and Spa, Autograph Collection is a historic hotel located in the heart of St. Augustine's Historic District, offering a unique blend of vintage Moroccan charm and luxury amenities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous security or law enforcement experience preferred.
• Excellent observation and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Must be able to work overnight shifts.
• Must be able to work part-time.

Nice To Haves

• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Experience in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Monitor surveillance equipment.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents.
• Enforce hotel policies and procedures.
• Assist guests and employees with security-related matters.
• Write detailed incident reports.
