As a Security Officer -Full Time Overnight Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and/or employee entry procedures in accordance with site rules and government location protocols.
• Support Allied Universal and site personnel by communicating relevant information, reporting concerns, and/or following post orders during daily operations and special circumstances.
