Security Officer, Temple
About The Position
Ensures the temple ordinances are kept pure, recorded accurately and made available to worthy Church members by providing an environment where patrons may have a positive and uplifting experience each time they come to the temple. Maintains and operates temples at standards established by the First Presidency. Provides security coverage for the protection of temple property from fire, theft, vandalism, trespassing, and illegal entry; renders appropriate first aid response in medical situations occurring on church property; renders security-related assistance to employees, visitors, tourists; makes on-the-spot decisions for necessary response. This position acts as a lead worker, as needed.
Requirements
- Must be a temple recommend holder.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be able to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with employees, visitors, and tourists.
- Must be able to respond appropriately in medical and security situations.
