About The Position

Securitas is hiring Security Officers for professional client sites in Stratham, NH, and Newington, NH. These positions are in industrial, manufacturing, and gatehouse-style security environments. The role is ideal for dependable, observant, and professional candidates who are comfortable following procedures. Previous security experience is helpful but not required, as training is provided for the right person. The ideal candidate is punctual, alert, communicates professionally, follows post orders, documents activity accurately, and contributes to a safe and secure environment.

Requirements

Previous security experience is preferred, but not required.
Previous customer service, military, law enforcement, corrections, warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, transportation, dispatch, or gatehouse experience is a plus.
Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to follow detailed post orders and site procedures.
Ability to complete accurate reports and daily activity logs.
Valid NH Security Guard license/guard card preferred, but not required. Candidates must be willing and able to complete the NH licensing process.
Ability to stand, walk, patrol, and respond to incidents throughout the shift.
Must be professional, reliable, and able to meet site expectations.
Dependable and punctual.
Can stay alert throughout the full shift.
Comfortable working independently.
Can follow written and verbal instructions.
Communicate clearly and professionally.
Comfortable interacting with employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers.
Can remain calm during emergencies or unexpected situations.
Can complete accurate logs and reports.
Comfortable walking, standing, and patrolling as needed.
Can work in changing weather conditions when required.

Responsibilities

Monitor employee, visitor, contractor, and vehicle access to the site, verifying credentials, checking identification, maintaining visitor logs, and ensuring proper entry procedures.
Conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, gates, parking areas, warehouses, production areas, and exterior property.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, vendors, contractors, drivers, and site personnel, assisting with directing authorized individuals and reporting unusual activity.
Monitor CCTV, alarms, and other security systems, responding to alerts according to site procedures and escalating concerns.
Respond to alarms, emergencies, safety concerns, access issues, and other incidents calmly and professionally, communicating with site personnel, emergency responders, and management.
Maintain accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, access records, and other required documentation.
Follow all site-specific post orders, emergency procedures, safety policies, and client expectations.
Represent Securitas and the client with professionalism, courtesy, and confidence, acting as a first point of contact.
