About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Entry Screener in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Screen visitors and vendors for facility access requirements, confirm identification and authorization, and provide directions to approved areas.
  • Monitor entry points and report suspicious activity, prohibited items, access concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare facility protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry areas, public spaces, and the surrounding perimeter as directed.
