As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Perimeter Patrol in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a residential care location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to alarms and resident or visitor needs. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Familiarity with access control systems and badge issuance processes.
• Alarm Panel Experience (B202): Experience in monitoring and responding to alarm systems.
• Computer/Tablet Proficiency (B204): Comfort and proficiency in using computers or tablets for daily tasks and reporting.
• Customer Service Experience (B219): Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, reporting unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
