As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Visitor Assistance in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at transportation facilities.
  • Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe pedestrian and vehicle activity, assisting with access control and directing individuals to appropriate resources when needed.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately; communicate relevant information to supervisors, emergency responders, and site personnel.
