As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a retail and/or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, support store teams and visitors with professional customer service, and document observations while communicating clearly with site leadership. Requirements

• Have 6+ months of security experience.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for a retail or mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and escalating concerns per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas including sales floors, common areas, loading docks, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points, deliveries, and after-hours activity, verifying credentials as directed and reporting unusual conditions to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete shift reports and incident logs, communicate with team members, and support loss prevention and customer assistance efforts as assigned.
