As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Badge Processing in Ashburn, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control activities, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology infrastructure location.
Monitor access points, review visitor and contractor credentials, maintain required logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and critical infrastructure areas, reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues.
Complete accurate incident reports, patrol documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
