As a Security Officer Full Time Site Rounds in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, loading zones, and the exterior perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and vendor entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations and following established escalation protocols.
  • Document patrol activities, incidents, and security-related observations through required reports and shift logs.
