About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time TWIC Accessible in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess a TWIC issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a manufacturing and industrial location, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain required access records.
• Screen vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site policies and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business, perimeter, parking areas, and access points, to help identify and report security-related concerns.
