Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.
  • Monitor access points, visitor activity, and available security-related systems from a stationary post; report unauthorized access attempts, unusual activity, and facility concerns according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
  • Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general site information, receive deliveries, and maintain clear written logs and shift documentation.
