About The Position
The Security Officer position at UW Health in northern Illinois is a 100% FTE role, working Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM at UW Health Swedish American Hospital. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the hospital premises and its occupants. Additional compensation components may include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime pay, and on-call pay.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license and a driving record that allows for Health System insurance coverage.
- Must receive mandatory certification through IAHSS (International Association of Health System Safety and Security) within the orientation period.
- Must obtain certification in CPR CPI (Crisis Preventive Intervention) and AVADE training courses within 90 days of hire.
