Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Staff the front desk to greet and screen visitors, verify identification, manage visitor registration, and issue visitor badges and/or access instructions per site policy.
• Monitor access control points and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and door controls, and report irregular activity according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site contacts and Allied Universal management as directed.
• Complete required logs and reports, maintain front desk records, and communicate status updates during shift change to support continuity of operations.
