Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or contractor entry, and report unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
  • Support daily location operations by observing equipment and material storage areas, reporting hazards and/or maintenance concerns, and completing required logs, reports, and other assigned duties.
