As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will make routine rounds, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post, so you may use a vehicle to cover assigned areas and support calls for service. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and report and/or escalate unauthorized entry attempts, suspicious behavior, and policy noncompliance according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing clear directions, coordinating with onsite contacts, and completing required notifications.
• Prepare timely reports and complete required documentation for patrols, incidents, and unusual activity, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site leadership.
