As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver welcoming customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or public emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access control points such as entrances, exits, gates, and loading areas, verifying identification and/or authorization in accordance with site requirements.
  • Complete timely security-related reports and logs for patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate pertinent information during shift handoff.
