As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic transportation location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • This is primarily a driving post.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, checkpoints, baggage areas, entrances, and the perimeter, with awareness that working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas to help support authorized entry, observe unusual activity, and report suspicious behavior, unattended items, and/or policy violations.
  • Assist with crowd management, queue observation, and directional support during busy travel periods, delays, and other transportation-related disruptions.
