As a Security Officer Walking Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as directed by location procedures, and assist with visitor processing and/or delivery access while maintaining professional communication.
• Support day-to-day operations at a manufacturing and industrial location by observing site activity, reporting maintenance or operational concerns, and following post orders related to security-related duties.
