About The Position

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, vendors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Serve as the front desk point of contact, greet and direct visitors, verify appointments and/or authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain required visitor records.
• Monitor entry activity and security-related systems from the reception area, report unusual conditions, and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare location procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming presence while supporting confidentiality expectations and providing directions or assistance to individuals entering the location.
