About The Position

As a Security Officer Visitor Management in Madison, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
  • Serve as the primary front-desk contact, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and appointment information, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor and contractor logs.
  • Monitor access to the facility, screen incoming calls and deliveries, and communicate access concerns or unusual activity to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
  • Maintain accurate daily activity reports and other required documentation while providing a professional, courteous presence at the front desk.
