As a Front Desk Security Officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will help manage access control, greet visitors, and support a professional, welcoming environment. Requirements

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception areas, greet visitors, confirm identities, manage access requests, and report unusual activity in a calm, professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations with a problem-solving approach while documenting observations and sharing updates with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Support visitor management processes, badge distribution, package handling, and phone or radio communications in alignment with property rules and security-related policies.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining a visible front desk presence, verifying credentials, and following escalation procedures for security-related concerns.
