Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific access procedures, screening entry requests, and supporting security-related protocols at the location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and credential checks to help control access to the facility, verify authorization, and document visitor and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and report maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and pass-down information related to access control activity, incidents, and daily operations while following Allied Universal standards and site policies.
