Job Description As a Security Officer Visitor Screening in Three Rivers, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a secure environment through strong communication and professionalism. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorization, document visitor activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, gates, and perimeter points to observe conditions and report security-related concerns, operational issues, and/or hazards.
Support screening and checkpoint operations for vehicles, materials, and personnel in accordance with site policies and industry-specific requirements at the location.
