Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and communications location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will be the welcoming first point of contact for employees and visitors. You will support access control, monitor entry activity, document incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. Using a computer and/or tablet, you will help maintain smooth daily operations while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Have at least 6 or more months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk.
  • Control access to the location by greeting and screening visitors, verifying identification, issuing temporary badges and/or credentials, and maintaining visitor and delivery logs.
  • Answer phones, route calls, and communicate with on-site staff regarding guest arrivals, service requests, and security-related concerns in a professional manner.
  • Monitor the lobby area and building entry points using available systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control, and report irregular activity according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document events using required reports and notification procedures.
