Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location where you will support access control operations by screening entrances, verifying credentials, managing visitor and vendor logs, and responding to security-related concerns with calm, professional communication. You will stay visible, complete routine patrols around key areas, and document activity clearly. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to drivers, employees, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
  • Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobbies by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor and vehicle logs, and confirming authorization for deliveries and pickups.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and radios to identify and report security-related concerns, irregular activity, and potential policy violations within the distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating notifications and documenting actions taken per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or theft, noting hazards and reporting maintenance concerns.
