As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech location, you will be the first point of contact for employees and visitors, supporting access control, guest check-in, badge verification, and lobby oversight. You will monitor activity through cameras and/or systems, document security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with site teams. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology office and/or facility front desk.
  • Control access at the main reception area by greeting guests, confirming authorization, issuing visitor badges, and directing visitors to the appropriate contact or area.
  • Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems as assigned, document observations, and communicate unusual conditions to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and supporting arriving responders per post orders.
  • Complete accurate reports, incident logs, and shift handoffs, and assist with administrative front desk tasks such as phone coverage, package handling, and visitor scheduling as directed.
