As a Security Officer Patrol Visitor Assistance in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist with access control and badge procedures. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with travelers and staff, and use technology to document activity. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned terminal areas, public spaces, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access to restricted or controlled areas in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts and/or policy violations.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with supervisors, client representatives, and other assigned personnel regarding incidents and observations.
