About The Position

As a Security Officer Vehicle Route Driver in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a transportation location, you will drive patrol routes, monitor assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with passengers and staff, and document observations using computer or tablet tools. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at rail transportation facilities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of station areas, platforms, access points, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Monitor access to designated areas and assist with directing visitors, passengers, and contractors in accordance with site requirements.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
