As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol in CYPRESS, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a cultural institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Security experience of 2+ years is required.
  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter grounds to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor traffic to help to deter disturbances, trespassing, and/or damage to property or exhibits.
  • Support a professional atmosphere at a cultural institution location by assisting with directions, answering questions, and communicating clearly with staff and/or first responders when needed.
