As a Security Officer Driver Badge Patrol in Clayton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a healthcare location as an unarmed driving patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and security-related protocols within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and/or communicate with site contacts and emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas, assist with badge or visitor verification processes, and document security-related observations, incidents, and/or maintenance issues according to post procedures.
  • Support emergency response activities, including following site instructions during medical, fire, and evacuation events, while helping maintain order and clear communication.
