Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a residential apartment location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, and support access awareness while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, all while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Security-related experience of 6+ months is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or property-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and amenity areas, assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures, and help to deter unauthorized access or policy violations at the location.
  • Support property operations by addressing routine service-related calls, communicating with residents and management, and following post orders for after-hours and incident response situations.
