As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Clearance Eligible in Thousand Oaks, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and government-site stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, following visitor-entry procedures, and documenting arrivals, departures, and other required information.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete accurate incident documentation.
  • Support a professional environment by observing and reporting security-related concerns, policy violations, and maintenance issues in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
