About The Position

As a Security Officer Vehicle Inspection Driver in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Security Officer with Allied Universal at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, support badge and access control activities, and help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at transportation facilities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of station areas, platforms, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas and assist with directing passengers and visitors in accordance with site-specific requirements.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.
