You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with employees and guests while responding to concerns. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
- Control access at entry points by verifying identification, confirming authorization for site access, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate access and visitor logs.
- Monitor alarms, access control systems, and camera views when assigned, and report irregular activity, hazardous conditions, and/or policy concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting actions taken, and assisting with post-incident reporting.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, gates, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
