Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Front Desk Officer supporting a utilities location, you will be the first point of contact for employees, contractors, and visitors. You will manage access control, greet and direct guests, monitor cameras and alarms, issue badges, and document incidents with clear communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
- Staff the front desk to manage access control by greeting and directing visitors, confirming identification, issuing temporary badges when authorized, and maintaining visitor and/or delivery logs.
- Answer phones and radios, route calls to appropriate contacts, and support operations by communicating security-related information to staff, contractors, and responding personnel.
- Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control notifications, and report irregular activity and/or maintenance issues per site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document events in incident reports, and escalate to site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
