About The Position

Markham Investigation and Protection LLC. (MIP) is seeking experienced and qualified candidates to fill full-time shift hours with set schedules starting in June. The positions are located within the Seattle area in Washington. To succeed in this role, candidates must have at least 1-2 years of experience in the security industry, a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, own a personal vehicle, and be proficient with smartphone technology. Hiring is for Summer start dates/contracts, and interviews and the hiring process will continue until the perfect candidates are selected. MIP also offers a referral program for qualified friends interested in joining the team.

Requirements

Must be 18+ years of age for all locations.
High school diploma/GED or equivalent job-related experience
Valid state driver's license/safe driving record (For operating company vehicles)
Able to pass drug test & background screening.
Must have smartphone/data plan.
Basic computer/mobile device skills
MUST have an Active security guard license in WA State
Must have personal vehicle for working on site- public transit will not work for these positions
At least 1-2 years of experience in the security industry
Proficiency with smartphone technology

Nice To Haves

Armed security guard license
History with Report writing and site patrol duties.
CPR & first aid certification
Bilingual

Responsibilities

Serve as a visible deterrent.
Patrol the facility to report potential safety or security risks.
Provide emergency response to aid with incidents.
Provide the highest level of customer service in both written and oral communications.
Prepare accurate and detailed reports.
This position includes regular walking and standing for extended periods.
Some kneeling, stooping, or crouching may be involved.
Ability to work outside in the elements (weather).
Report any suspicious incidents to management in detail.
