Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, badge verification protocols, and other security-related policies for a regulated aerospace and defense location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, authorize visitor and delivery access, and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted and controlled areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate access logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for suspicious activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related concerns.
